Sally was a gifted cowgirl, a fashion icon—the epitome of guts, grit and lipstick. Named after her own apparel line, Marvel Cowboy honors her dreams and celebrates her Western-meets-world style: timeless, elegant, bold. EXPLORE THE COLLECTION It all started with a cowgirl. Sally Rosita Marvel Freeman was born in Battlemountain, Nevada. She grew up riding horses with her six siblings, surrounded by the fresh aroma of sagebrush on the family’s 25 Ranch. She was tough, a better hand than many cowboys, and she also had an eye for fashion. Her classic yet bold style was ahead of her time. She was a trendsetter, a dark-haired fashion icon in cowboy boots. Many knew Sally as a loving mother and a gifted horse trainer, but she was also a designer. In Los Angeles, she launched her own line—Marvel Cowboy. Due to life circumstances, Sally’s design career was short-lived but her awe-inspiring style and impeccable taste lasted her a lifetime. She shared her love for fashion with her daughter Quincy and helped her launch Rodeo Quincy. The legacy lives on. Fast forward to present-day Los Angeles and here we are—Quincy and Lily, Sally’s daughter and granddaughter, hand-picking fabrics and sourcing materials to relaunch Marvel Cowboy as a tribute to the ultimate cowgirl. The collection that we share with you today is a labor of love. We put a lot of thought into every detail, from the materials chosen to the tailoring. Every piece is cut to fit and flatter and designed to last, both in style and durability.
